"Oh, the thinks you can think" when Dr. Seuss' best-loved characters collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper!

SEUSSICAL is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza. Together we are transported to the Jungle of Nool, the Circus McGurkus and to the invisible world of the Whos. Our favourite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo are just some of the many characters in SEUSSICAL.

Disembarking out of the 1920's and pirouetting into the 1984 miners’ strike in North East England, Engadine Musical Society is thrilled to present BILLY ELLIOT in October 2024 at Engadine Community Centre.

BiLLY ELLIOT is the inspirational story of a young boy's struggle against the odds to make his dream come true. Follow Billy's journey as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, where he discovers a passion for dance that inspires his family and community... and changes his life forever.

Based on the international smash-hit film, and featuring a score by music legend Elton John, Billy Elliot is an astonishing theatrical experience with the heart, humour and passion, named TIME Magazine's "Best Musical of the Decade!"

Tickets will go on sale 4 July 2024 @ 10am here

SINGING THROUGH LIFE - THE AT HOME CONCERT SERIES

With theatres closed and rehearsals paused we wanted to create an at home concert for our patrons.
We contacted some Engadine MS past performers and asked them to record a song. We encouraged them to choose something they love singing or have always wanted to perform. It's all a bit of fun!
Welcome to the three part series of Engadine Musical Society Inc presents Singing Through Life, proudly supported by Sutherland Shire Council and Sutherland Entertainment Centre.

In the spirit of reconciliation Engadine Musical Society acknowledges the Dharawal people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we perform and gather. We recongise the Dharawal people’s continuing connection to the land, the sea and the community. We pay our respect to the Elders both past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. We acknowledge the First Peoples of Australia as the first storytellers. May their stories and songlines continue to flow through this country.
